The semester is finally finished, signaling the beginning of Stupid Girl Summer for me. While we (impatiently) wait for Gig of the Damned to finally drop (wtf man!) on June 1st…I have more fucked up shit to get started on.
The paperback for GOTD will drop on the same day as the kindle version, on June 1st. I have no idea why you can’t preorder both, but everything on my end is in place. I am also waiting on IngramSpark, so paperbacks can be purchased through them for those who don’t want to go the Amazon route. Official merch for GOTD has been ordered and I am excited for everyone to see what I have up my sleeve!
Today I am starting a short story for an anthology focusing on religious trauma. I want it to be a tale of femme rage & revenge against the church. Specifically the clergy, whose attempts to quiet a victim causes them to become targets once she is free.
Scissor Me Timbers: Scissor Me Timbers will be another splatter-comedy that’s more splatter and less comedy. (GOTD is listed as transgressive Splattering-Comedy) It’s going to be about a burly Female lumberjack who gets injured on a job and is taken in by the Convent of Saint Flagellatia to bring her back to good health. As she recovers and is welcomed into the fold(s), the nuns all fall in lust with the dangerous outsider. Ending with a jealousy-fueled bloodbath when they all find out the Lumberjack has been preying at all their altars.
ReArranged Guts: Rearranged Guts is about a killer who uses a popular hookup app to acquire his victims. He lures them in with a promise that he is into some pretty extreme toys. His toys end up being sex toys that are retrofitted with torture devices. Our killer only preys when he feels the urge to kill his beloved boyfriend, but the gore doesn’t quell the desire for very long. His bf is the archetype of a golden boy, who is none the wiser of his other half’s dark half. No happy endings promised here. Secrets will be revealed, a final battle will be fought, and guts will be spilled.
Depravity & moist explosions on the horizon. Oh, and I plan on keeping up with the Lube Me Up with Fry Grease sub-series too...cuz even I need to know what happens and I need more smut practice!
