Official Gig of the Damned Cover Reveal!

It’s here, it’s queer, get used to it.

A cover is just a cover right? Not this one tho, this one is special not just because it’s mine (!!!) but also because it’s my first of hopefully many book covers. Ever! Ecstatic does not even remotely touch the pinky toe of what I felt when I first saw this finished cover.

As I said before, Gig of the Damned came about because I had an open note in my phone called “drag queen names” that was overflowing with potential. So I said how can I utilize them? …Ah ha! I should write an homage to giallo (Italian horror) films except with an all drag queen, dwindling cast!

I’m a very visual…human. So before I even wrote the first word of the story, I came up with this cover concept. I saw the heel, I saw the face, I saw the blood. It’s truly what inspired me to make the Gig of The Damned multiverse a reality!

I could not have done it without the incredible talents of Jeremy Lopez aka Krustyna Klown @neonclownart on IG. A long time friend and one of my favorite artists, who I knew was the ONLY person who could truly capture my vision. It’s perfect in every way. It’s been my phone wallpaper since the first day I saw it and I can stare at it all day. 🖤 Thank you so much for helping to make one of my dreams come true! Hopefully I wasn’t too much of pain in the ass & you can relax soon!
